July 2019

HELLO MINISTRY PARTNER!!!!

How old are you??? What a question!!! It is usually not a great question to ask anyone because generally we are bothered by that.

Here is another one. How much do you weigh? I actually get asked those questions a lot mostly when I am at a DOCTOR’S OFFICE which seems to be TOO often haaa!!!

They need to know our D.O.B. and if we have had a significant change in weight?
So, it is ok for us to tell folks “that” if they really need to know.

As a matter of fact, here are some examples of folks that we can know their INFO from history!

Moses was 80 years old when he began to lead the Children of Israel out of bondage.
Daniel was 80 years old when he refused to stop praying to God and was thrown in the Lion’s den. Sara was 90 years old when God did a miracle and she conceived and gave birth to Isaac. Now we don’t really know what they weighed but we really don’t care, do we?

So here is the question. If God is not a respecter of persons and if He is the same yesterday today and forever, then what can WE do with the rest of OUR lives?

I for one have decided I will keep moving and going and doing and being all that I can as long as I can even with all my aches and pains.

For instance, I do a twenty-minute workout every morning and it is called GETTING OUT OF BED—haa! I saw this old man yesterday morning and I said “I think I know him” then I said “wait a minute I’m looking in the bathroom mirror that’s ME”!!!

While I was doing a program recently at a Nursing facility, I visited a gentleman in his room that could not attend the show and I asked him “how are you doing today”?
He said, “I feel just like a newborn baby ain’t got no hair, ain’t got no teeth and just wet my pants”!! Haaa!

Truth is we need to do all we can as long as we can!
That even reminds me of a joke about money that is partly true. Some folks get all they can, can all they get and then sit on their CAN!

Now that is N0T YOU!! You are blessing me and this ministry when you can.
The NHRA Chapel Service at the Bristol track was standing room only where God gave us a great time of entertainment and ministry!

The next week we had a very special time of ministry at the REFUGE Church in Mayodan, NC.
I did the production of Daniel in the Lion’s Den and the whole church came to the altar! While still in costume and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit I even went to the few folks still sitting in their seats to lay hands on them and impart the faith of Daniel as we all get ready for the attack that is coming on our faith.

I am writing this ministry update on the 4th of July while at home. This is the first time in 26 years I am home and not doing 4th of July shows somewhere partly because Donna’s dad is in Memory care and Donna’s mom will have a procedure tomorrow. I am actually enjoying some home time and time away from holiday traffic.

I kind of miss doing the Lee Greenwood song “God Bless the USA” on the 4th, especially after doing a show with him in Nashville a few years ago. Our dressing rooms were next to each other and as we talked he was interested in my prison show ministry and said for me to do the song anywhere and everywhere.

I speak blessings and healing over YOU and YOUR family in Jesus name!

Thank you for your prayers and support again in 2019 as a ministry partner in Agape Ministries, Inc. 501c3!

Blessings,
Barry
